About the Williamstown Festival

In the 32 years of The Williamstown Festival 500,000 people have been drawn to Commonwealth Reserve to engage with the community, hear music, dance, perform, take advantage of local traders and market stalls, admire the view across the Bay, marvel at the history of the area, and witness the jaw-dropping, fun-filled, family friendly Mainstage, Opening Ceremony and annual Cannon Firing.

The 2010 Festival

The Williamstown Festival is in its 33rd year.

The 2010 festival will be inspired by the history and heritage of Williamstown, uncovering and discovering hidden treasures of Williamstown, revitalizing community spirit and making it glow.

Thousands of people will be drawn to Commonwealth Reserve to engage with the community, hear music, dance, watch performances, sample local traders and market stalls, and marvel at the history of the area.

The Williamstown Festival Organisation

The Williamstown Summer Festival Ltd is a not-for-profit community based organisation. A Board of committed volunteers, with a diverse range of professional experience act as an information and advisory panel. The Festival Director is appointed to coordinate key components of the Festival.  The Festival recruits additional festival volunteers to make it all happen on the festival days.
