Tommy And The Fog (Classic Rock Blues)    A local Williamstown band made up of five players who play classic rock and blues covers.

Red Jane Show   (Glam Pop Rock)    The Red Jane Show impressed TV audiences of 3.2 million viewers on the Grand Final on Channel 7's hit show "Australia's Got Talent". A fully choreographed setup includes the world's first lead singer who can play two keyboards and drums while singing at the same time.

Rezzalp   (contemporary pop)     www.rezzalp.com    Four sisters who blend elements of musical theatre and pop with quirky lyrics and melodramatic piano driven grooves. Over the years they have dedicated themselves to develop a sound they define as Pop-Theatre. All songwriters and musicians, who have been trained in classical music from an early age. Steve Zammit Academy of Voice   Steven teaches a range of vocal and musical styles, the solo artists from his academy sing contemporary vocal arrangements. 

Newport Choir  www.nffc.org.au The choir repertoire includes gospel songs, rounds, hymns, songs from diverse cultures and was formed in late 2008 and has performed at several events in Newport and Williamstown. The choir is an activity of the Newport Fiddle and Folk Club . Alan Davis  - Choir Leader   

Victoria Police Showband www.police.vic.gov.au    The Victoria Police Showband is a vibrant, dynamic group made up of instrumentalists and vocalists. The Showband performs jazz, swing, contemporary pop as well as music from musicals and light opera.  The band is a powerful proactive tool for increasing positive contact and communication with the public.  Through the medium of music they can effectively enhance the delivery of Victoria Police's corporate messages and themes.

Hobsons Bay Big Band    The Hobsons Bay City Band is a community concert band comprised of a group of musicians from beginners to professional musicians playing brass, woodwind and percussion instruments. The Band covers light entertainment and background music through to more challenging pieces.

In the Bacharach of the Ute  Sultry cover songs from Bert Bacarate  sung from the back of a Holden Ute. With Debra Low as the front woman who sings a blend of old favourites and keeps the crowd entertained.

Belly Dancer  Julia came from Russia to Australia in December 2008 and is a professional belly dance teacher and performer. The movements are artistic and feminine promoting a positive feeling of expression and freedom. Dancer – Julia  Waddell

MDX began as an idea originally conceived by Patricia and Chrystal Hili to introduce industry professionals to the local and surrounding areas of Williamstown in January 2002.  MDX is now one of the leading performing arts institutions for children and young adults in Victoria . Providing specialised tuition in the areas of dance, musical theatre, vocal training and drama.

Altona City Theatre – Sinbad pantomime www.altonacitytheatre.com.au  Altona City Theatre is an amateur theatre group which presents three productions a year in the western suburbs of Melbourne and produces two large scale musicals. Children's Activities Hub

Visual Feast Creations   ( Mural and collage workshop)  Join artist Clare Walton from Visual Feast Creations in creating a large scale recycled mural about Williamstown.  Taking materials from industry and household waste help to create a large representation of our favourite bayside town. 

Phoenix Puppet workshop and performance An hour of making puppets with simple materials and easy operation from shadow, cut outs and hand puppets. The puppets made will be developed into a puppet show and children’s works are incorporated into the show, along with performing.

Becc Art Tree House  (Art workshop)    www.arttreehouse.com.au   Becc is widely recognised in many festivals as an innovative and creative art play environment for children and adults. Becc has a wide range of materials and helps create visual art through sculpture, collage, puppetry, painting and drawing.  Art activities will related to Williamstown from light houses, sea shells, sea creature and other Iconic images of Williamstown.

Face PainterTeresa  Teresa and creates a face painting atmosphere which will transform a simple marque into a child’s creative wonderland through, décor, books and other activities to keep children relaxed while waiting to be face painted.

Face Painter – Penny A professional ,make up artist by trade and children’s face painter by day. Penny has extensive skills in make up from stage, TV and film, she is delighted to paint for children and has great fun interactive with the children and creating wild animals creatures.

Play Lady Join Judy as she presents a range of traditional children’s games from marbles, jacks, egg and spoon race and more.

Animal Nursey A children’s farm consisting of 35 small farm animals from ducks, geese, lambs, piglets, puppies, and more.  Saturday 10 – 5pm  Rain Hail or Shine and Sunday 10.30 – 4pm  Animas on the Move.


Science Works  Displays and activities include:  Make and take – glider templates.  Make and take – cup and ball (testing hand ball coordination).

ROAMING PERFORMERS  

 Yoga Fairy  A stumbling fairy who tries to make her way around the crowd and calms herself down by doing Yoga. The Yogo Fairy invites the audience to do exercises with her and finds she can build a class of children in minutes. She will gives out stamps for the best and worst yoga positions.

Limpid Puppets Two unusual sea creatures sit perched on a large rock, look at the passers-by and chit chat to get their attention. They have tentacle type arms and they are a bit cheeky and sometimes made rude sounds that kids love.

Cave Man  Rodney is missing. But the show must go on. Eternally optimistic Johnson attempts to perform the show without his gargantuan sidekick. This buoyant, physical comedy artfully combines the traditions of the vaudevillian street clown with rich and moving storytelling. Rodney. Missing. is a poignant and often absurd exploration of friendship and the power of imagination. 

Tuba JUKEBOX  David Watson is a local brass teacher. David has a delightful performance which all children will enjoy, playing the grand old Tuba, and is able to play any tune requested from the young audience. 

Rose Ukulele Cooking Kitchen  A quirky cardboard kitchen with all utensils made from cardboard. Rose Turtle is recognised in Melbourne fro her Ukulele orchestra and she has developed a cookbook with recipes from the ukulele players. She will offer tasty treats and play summer strumming tunes.
